Art is the ultimate source of imagination, inspiration, innovation and impact. Art lies in the ‘How’ of doing and therefore has a direct influence not just on what we do or achieve, but also on how we do or achieve it. Search Years integrates art through all walks of life - Art in education, workplace, communities and life.

Art integration is initiated through a carefully planned artistic calendar of interventions viz., installations at vantage locations, festival decorations, value walls, rotating exhibitions, performances on special occasions, training & due diligence modules using theatre, dance and music, etc.

Art In Education

Search Years aims to bring arts to the centre of the educational experience of children and young adults through integrated arts education. Through this initiative, we are trying to develop an environment of education that does not yet exist in the country wherein creative and performing arts can be used to imbibe skills of observation, exploration and reflection in their learning.

Kala Saakshar

  • To introduce an art form (we had taken three forms viz., theatre, music and clay modelling)
  • To familiarise children with the basic definitions of the form, tools and mediums and benefits (both external and intrinsic) of engaging with them.
  • Create an environment such that children engage and experience the art form hands-on.
  • Identify some children in the group who have a natural talent or have keen and visible interest in the art form for future workshops.

Makenaka

  • Makenaka films trains  students of Government run schools and other underserved youth to create, write, direct, cast and act in their own short films.
  • This training leads each group to a film production and finally culminates into a  film festival contest.  It centers around the concept of “Films by Kids, for Kids”.
  • Children express themselves through the art of filmmaking and raise interest in movie making connecting them to careers in the media industry, growing rapidly in the city of Gurgaon.

Kalasthali

  • To make available to children in the project area the opportunity to engage in creative arts- to learn a skill for self-sustainability during the schooling years and to aid personality development.
  • To use the power of creativity to engage with children on different issues from the more academic subjects to cultural education  and  awareness about environmental issues.
  • To provide a safe space for children to learn and have fun.

Gurgaon Theatre Group

  • Gurgaon Theatre Group (GTG) is a collective of theatre enthusiasts, who get together to Learn, Appreciate and Perform Drama.
  • Whether you are already a trained/ accomplished stage artist, a gifted performer who has performed in school/college and would like to keep a regular connect with the world of theatre or are now keen to learn drama in addition to performing, Gurgaon Theatre Group has structured programs to meet your aspirations.
  • The group with close to 2000 followers and committed theatre professionals also develops productions of different genres of theatre regularly.

Theatre Programs & Festivals

  • Rang Laatu: Neighborhood Theatre Festival
  • Jago Re: Theatre for change (Street Theatre initiatives and Festival)
  • Purogav: Leadership training for senior leaders across the industry spectrum, institutions and research centres, based on thespian (Natya Shastra) approach and Rasa Theory
  • Repertory:
    – Selection from a bouquet of ‘ready-to-show’ Play performances for audiences of varied age and taste
    – A play production (any genre) scripted and directed as per the need of the client

Art In Community/ Public Places

Art enriches the environment of the place it is installed in. It engages the community with it, ignites the imagination, brings them together and encourages active discourse. It renders identity to the place and its people, fostering a sense of pride and ownership in them which then manifests into clean public places and civil society.

Kalpvriksha

A “Wall with a Difference” in your Offices/ Shops/ Homes is the concept of Kalpvriksha coming under Art In Community. A symphony played by children with brushes, rollers, hands and at the end, behold…the KalpaVriksh emerged planted in the new office of the Everest Group.

Art At Public Places

It renders identity to the place and its people, fostering a sense of pride and ownership in them which then manifests into clean public places and civil society.

Bhumigandha

Our Bhumigandha program has already come of age. Our students have found vocational linkages in the space of the ‘Arts’ and have become sculptors/ designers and are now leading this program for us. Many exhibitions and trade expos have appreciated our artworks.

Be it individual or corporate gifting, art workshops at Kalasthali or offsite, office installations or public space art, our Bhoomigandha artists can with great finesse give physical expression to your corporate culture.
